Course Information
This 2 day hands on course includes workshops to implement the clinical intra oral skills necessary as well as developing the fundamentals to include photography as a vital part of your practice promotion.

You will learn:
  • Basic photography skills with breakout sessions that will enable you to manually control the camera in natural light situations
  • Hands-on practice capturing standardized views with various clinical lighting techniques and equipment
  • Hands-on portrait photography workshop with both full studio lighting setups for larger spaces and simple light set-ups for offices without space for a dedicated studio
  • Tips and tricks on utilizing photography for laboratory communication from matching single incisors to full mouth rehabilitations
  • The most current techniques in dental photography and lighting that will make your pictures stand out and your dentistry look extraordinary
  • How to integrate DSLR video and Digital Smile Design techniques into presentation and communication with the patient, laboratory and restorative team
  • Intra-oral tips and strategies for quality images in Invisalign treatment and AACD accreditation
  • How to get predictable results every time!
  • See as an artist and make ordinary people look and feel extraordinary. You will explore different poses, lighting and props.

  • What to Bring
    Laptop, the camera that you use for taking photos in your office, and any extra attachments that your camera may have, such as extra lenses, flash, etc.
    Speaker Information
    Jason Olitsky DMD, AAACD
    Dr. Jason Olitsky is the immediate past president of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. As Director of Aesthetics and Photography, he teaches portrait and clinical photography, smile design, and full mouth rehabilitation with The Clinical Mastery Series and is clinical adjunct faculty with Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

    Dr. Olitsky owns WallSmiles.com, a photography business that sells clinical before and after images and portrait wall art for dentists. He is also co-author of The Naked Tooth: What Cosmetic Dentists Don’t Want You to Know. He's been published on various topics of cosmetic dentistry, has appeared in numerous national beauty and health magazines, and serves as product consultant for dental product companies and is a clinical consultant for Dental Advisor.

    He is also the official dentist of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL cheerleaders, The Roar, and he owns a licensed modeling agency, Smile Stylist Model Management, which he uses to promote beautiful and healthy smiles. He regularly appears on local news stations with tips for healthy mouths and beautiful smiles. Lastly, he maintains a private practice with his wife and dental partner, Colleen, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
